Extra note: Getting your controller set up on your computer may be difficult. I couldn't get my Xbox 360 controller set up, so I just used a PS3 controller. You may want to choose what I did if you can't get your controller set up on your PC. To make your game available to be played on Xbox, please do the following on a computer: Navigate to your game's page. Click the Menu button in the upper-right corner of the game's page that looks like 3 dots aligned horizontally. Click Configure this Place in the menu that appears. Click the Access tab on the left.
Today I tried to use my PS4 controller to work on Xbox support for my new title, however Roblox didn’t recongise the input. In the past it has recognised the input, and worked as expected. This initial test was in studio, but I tested in game too and it didn’t work there either.
I ran the following code to test if there was absolutely no input, and there was none
None of the buttons or sticks caused that to print, but using my keyboard and mouse, the function printed as normal.
The controller works on other apps, such as rocket league. And if I had steam open, and I held down the centre PS4 button, the right thumbstick would output (that seems to be because if you hold down the PS4 button, steam makes the right thumbstick control your mouse). This works both in game and in studio

At some point, Xbox Controllers no longer worked with Roblox. When installing the correct drivers, the drivers show your moving the joysticks, clicking buttons, etc. When you load up Roblox, the game doesn’t recognize the controller at all. This happens 100% of the time.
It’s possible this began with Catalina which is a 64-bit only release but I have no clue how this all works and I’m just spitballing on when controllers broke down. I know they used to work years ago when we tested Jailbreak.
I’m currently on Catalina V10.15.6. I’ve only tried a wired connection. Mac has a hard time recognizing controllers over bluetooth in my experience.
